Assist with preparation of annual audit and tax reconciliation schedules
Prepare routine financial reports for gift and grant funds as needed
Act as backup for the Senior Director of Finance
Assist the Senior Director of Finance and Vice President of Operations in refining existing processes as well as developing new processes

REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum Bachelor degree in accounting, business administration or related field or equivalent amount of relevant training and/or experience
Skill in the operation of computers with proficiency in Google Suite, Excel and Adobe Pro
Proficiency in accounting / payroll systems

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Campaigns Coordinator position plays an integral role in the strategizing , planning, and execution of the tactics and strategies that make up our US campaigns and corporate engagement projects. As a campaigner, you have a deep comprehension of our targets, our primary campaign strategies, and the tools we will use to win. You create and execute tactics across a variety of media, including email, social media, advertisements, and other digital and on-the-ground spaces. You are relentless, strategic, organized, innovative, well-written, persuasive, and motivated to find the key pressure points that will bring us closer to a victory for animals. This position reports directly to the Corporate Campaigns Manager.
This is a full-time, remote position. This position requires domestic travel for annual staff retreats, which is equivalent to approximately 1-2 trips per year, and potentially travel to major campaign events, such as visiting a target’s headquarters. We are only able to consider applicants who reside in the United States and possess United States work authorization.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Extensively researching and monitoring contact information, data, and key details about companies and their executives, using intuition and quick attention to detail while combing through data and locating difficult-to-find information online. Evaluating said research to inform strategies and tactics we use throughout the campaign or project, what our communications should look like (e.g. slogan and ad language), and the project plan that we follow.
Supporting and, where necessary, managing campaigns and Corporate Engagement projects, including setting strategies and preparing and executing tactics, and ensuring the overall success of the campaigns or projects. Tactics include (but are not limited to) email and social media campaigns, phone-calls with corporate employees, and digital and physical advertisements.
Collaborating on and directing cross departmental projects with Corporate Engagement, Organizing, Digital Products, Communications, and other teams on a daily basis to set goals, strategize, prepare and carry out various campaigns related projects. Projects include, but are not limited to, assisting with on the ground actions, media outreach, launching and maintaining volunteer petitions, creating video, website, and written content, and the creation and inputting of social media actions for THL’s Fast Action Network (FAN) platform.
Acting as a Campaigns representative to other THL departments, volunteers, coalition groups, as well as corporations, media, outside vendors, and other stakeholders; this requires frequent professional communication.
Occasionally supporting international campaigns and the US Corporate Relations team.

Organization: managing a large number of projects and campaigns requires exemplary organizational skills, including effective cross-departmental project management skills, daily use of Google Drive, online communication tools like Slack, spreadsheets, and project management software.
Solid written and verbal communication skills: the ability to communicate our message well and professionally to corporations, media, and volunteers is vital to the success of our campaigns.
